Booking terms & conditions important to know 

A small proportion of our tables is sold twice and there might be a leave time for your reservation – we will always advise beforehand

As we are a small intimate restaurant we do not permit babies or children under 10 years old

+10 year olds who are comfortable to dine from regular menu at full price are welcome

If you have mobility issues please get in touch before booking

very few tables in the restaurant can accommodate a wheelchair, we do not have a disabled lavatory

If you have any dietary requirements please advise in advance

unfortunately we CAN NOT CATER for those with VEGAN dietary restrictions

we are UNABLE to offer a FULL VEGETARIAN MENU or cater for those with ALLERGIES that pose SERIOUS HEALTH RISKS

Pea Porridge restaurant is Not a dog friendly establishment

Please arrive at the time of your reservation

we don’t have a separate lounge or bar for predrinks and may not be able to get you seated before the time booked

Please call if you are running late we have 15min grace period before the table is released

Although we will always do our best to allocate a table/area you prefer this cannot be guaranteed

6 covers is the largest party that we can accommodate

we do not cater for bigger groups

Babies or children under 10 years old are not permitted in the restaurant

Please note that all our advance bookings are done online, credit card details will be required to secure your reservation

Completed reservations are always followed by an automatically generated email confirmation. If you do not receive this, check spam/junk folder before contacting us

 

American Express is not accepted, £100 is our limit for all Mobile Payments in the restaurant, please have your credit card with you

In the event of no show, late cancellation or reduction in guest numbers automatic non-refundable charges will apply

Cancellation T&C’s

“Pea Porridge” is a small independent 35 cover restaurant
We rely on reservations being honoured and sufficient notice of any changes being given

Cancellation outside of 24hrs of reservation will not incur any cost (5+ guests – 48hrs)

Late cancellation/reduction in numbers within 24hrs of reservation will result in £30 charge per guest

Bookings of 5+ respectfully require 48hrs notice of cancellation/reduction in numbers – cancelling/modifying within 48hrs of reservation will result in £30 per guest

In the event of a no show, late cancellation/reduction in guest numbers (2hrs before the time booked) or changing your mind from dining with us when you are in the restaurant a charge of £50 per guest will apply

St Valentines (14th February) – 48hrs notice is required for cancellations, after this time £50 per guest fee will apply

Regrettably late cancellation charges listed above are non-refundable regardless of circumstance (inclusive of travel, illness or Covid related issues)

Our experience of parties failing to cancel or amend bookings in time, has had the detrimental effect on us and this precaution is now necessary  – thank you for understanding

any correspondence related to this, will not be returned
