Booking terms & things to know 

In the warmer months we have pavement tables available to dine al fresco
These can be reserved on the day depending on the weather – no smoking permitted

A small proportion of our tables are sold twice and there might be a leave time for your reservation – we will always advise beforehand

Whilst we do not accept babies or young children in the restaurant, well-behaved children
happy to dine from regular menu at full price are welcome

If you have mobility issues please get in touch before booking. Very few tables in our
restaurant can accommodate a wheelchair. We do not have a disabled lavatory

If you have any dietary requirements please advise in advance

Unfortunately we CAN NOT CATER for those with VEGAN dietary restrictions

We are NOT ABLE to offer a VEGETARIAN menu or CATER for those with ALLERGIES that pose SERIOUS HEALTH RISKS

A main course or two starters is a minimum food order per person – we do not provide light meals at lunch/dinner

No dogs are permitted

Please arrive at the time of your reservation. We don’t have a separate lounge or bar for predrinks
and may not be able to get you seated before the time booked

Call us if you are running late we have 15min grace period before the table is released

Although we will always do our best to allocate a table/area you prefer this cannot be guaranteed

6 covers – is the largest party that we can accommodate in our restaurant

Please note we require credit card details (no American Express) to secure your reservation

We do not accept American Express    I    £45 is our limit for all Mobile Payments in the restaurant

In the event of no-show,  late cancellation/reduction in guest numbers non-refundable charges will apply

Cancellation T&C’s

“Pea Porridge” is a small independent restaurant
We rely on reservations being honoured and sufficient notice of any changes being given

Cancellation outside of 24hrs (5+ guests – 48hrs) of reservation will not incur any cost and should you wish to change your booking we will endeavour to assist in finding an alternative

Cancellation/reduction in numbers within 24hrs of reservation will result in £30 charge per guest

Bookings of 5 or more respectfully require 48hrs notice of cancellation/reduction in numbers – cancelling within 48hrs of reservation will result in £30 per guest

In the event of a no-show, late cancellation/reduction in numbers (2hrs before the time booked) or changing your mind from dining with us when you are in the restaurant a charge of £50 per guest will apply

Regrettably late cancellation charges are non-refundable regardless of circumstances – thank you for understanding
